It's fine. Does the job in a Mojito but I find it a bit thin when sipped neat. The vanilla and light citrus notes are pleasant enough but there's not a lot going on. I'd reach for something with more body for a Daiquiri.

This rum is a revelation. Deep mahogany in the glass with aromas of burnt caramel, ripe banana, and old tobacco. The palate is incredibly layered — molasses, dark chocolate, and espresso give way to a long finish of warm spice and dried tropical fruit. Sip it neat after dinner and let it unfold. World-class rum by any measure.

I've done blind tastings with white rums at twice the price and Havana Club 3 always holds its own. The brief barrel ageing gives it a complexity that purely unaged rums just can't match. Soft vanilla, a whisper of oak, clean sugarcane sweetness. Brilliant value.
